Miley Cyrus appeared on the Oprah show on Nov. 21st, 2007, though the show was filmed on November 6th. It was set up as a "Miley's 100 Biggest Fans" contest, but really the show featured Miley Cyrus and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Oprah asks Miley about her freedom and Miley replied: "I probably have an earlier curfew than anyone, just because I can't be out too late. My mom wants to keep me really safe. My dad's not overly protective, but he's a dad no matter what."

Miley also reveals that her family is very important to her. "No one messes with me and my family. We're so tight. They come first and foremost." During her tours, Miley's sisters, mother and grandmother accompany her. Sometimes her dad and younger brother also come along.

Miley talks about a funny story of when she brought her boyfriend over, "I had one of my guy friends over and dad was hiding in the kitchen. We were outside just hanging out, and I look around and say, 'Why are the lights on?;" "My dad's standing there with his German shepherd watching us, and I'm like, 'Dad, you're going to scare him! I'm not going to have any more friends!' But he watches every move."

Her dad replies, "I was kidding him because they knew I was there. It's not like I was spying." Then Oprah asks, "Are you nervous about the whole dating thing?" And her dad responds, "Not as nervous as I am meeting you. Meeting you—now that's nervous!"

Then Miley Cyrus puts on a concert for Oprah and Miley's "100 Biggest Fans" (we know her true biggest fans are on this site).
