Teen Queen: Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus but her nickname of “Smiley” soon turned into “Miley” and it just stuck. After landing the role of Miley Stewart at the age of 12 on The Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, her rise to the top was as quick as lighting. While performing as Hannah Montana, Miley has toured across the country and appeared on many television programs. She has released numerous albums, one of which is a double album that features Hannah Montana and debuts Miley as herself. Her fan base is huge, and her October 2007 North American “Best of Both Worlds Tour” sold out in record time (a disappointment to a large number of fans). Even with 14 additional performances added on, the 69 day tour date total was still not enough!

Miley on the Big Screen

Luckily for fans, Miley’s concert is coming to the big screen on a limited engagement. The audience will get to see Miley and her pop-star alter-ego Hannah Montana perform in Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert presented in state-of-the-art Disney Digital 3D™. The movie was shot during her 54-city musical tour and captures the talent of Miley along with the Jonas Brothers. The movie will be in theatres February 1st for a special one-week engagement.

How To Dress Like a Superstar

To get Miley’s classic and youthful look, try pairing your favorite slim leg blue jeans with a white or off-white puff sleeve tunic top. Throw on a comfortable pair of tan slouchy boots and curl the ends of your hair into soft waves. To liven up the simple color palette of the outfit, add a few colorful woven bangles and a few simple pieces of golden jewelry (don’t go overboard). Throw on some colorful shades and a soft, slouchy handbag and you're ready to hit the sidewalks singing!
